PASTORAL COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT

Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities

This support scheme is to Pastor’s personal and intimate needs, their families and ministry.
Pastors are said to be struggling with difficulties and challenges like everyone else. However, many of them are lonely and overwhelmed. The expert will provide voluntary support in one or more of the following areas:

To support Pastors to build one-one-relationship between their church leaders, build trust and gain confidence.
To provide structures and institutions for motivating Pastors, facilities for crisis management, capacity building with backup resources to encourage frank and honest engagements.
To improve Pastor’s managerial and health skills such as family oriented, mental health seminars to prevent burnout for both Pastors and their families. Leadership training, collaboration/networking skills, conflict management, cultural intelligence and conflict resolution etc
To provide professional Legal, financial and mental counselling
To resolve inter and intra conflict among Pastors and Church leaders

Anyone providing these or related services should be an expert in the field with minimum 2-5 years experience. The tasks will include teaching, mentoring, presentation to group(s) and engagement using professional tools.

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements

Having Faith
Able to speak English/French
Able to engage group(s) in discussion
Able to work with a variety of people in the community
Must have similar experiences elsewhere
Appropriately dressing code
Minimum age: 18 years old
